Brokers
Stockbrokers / Dealing Members are individuals and/or corporate entities authorized to buy and sell securities on behalf of an investor for a commission.
CSCS Plc works with registered stockbrokers/dealing members in maintaining updated records of securities traded upon and optimizing the processes involved in the Clearance and settlement of securities traded in the Nigerian Capital market.
Registrars
Registrars are institutions that keep records of bondholders and/or shareholders after an issuer offers securities to the public.
CSCS Plc works with Registrars to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate transfer of securities to involved parties (Buy/Sell) during a trade.
Custodians
Custodians are institutions trusted with the Safekeeping and protection of securities on behalf of investors to minimize the risk of theft and loss.
Custodians are, however, not licensed to trade securities on behalf of their customers. CSCS Plc works with Custodians to ensure safety and efficiency in the investment ecosystem for their client.
Settlement Banks
Settlement banks are responsible for the cash settlement of a transaction between two entities in the capital market.
CSCS Plc works with Settlement Banks to ensure the accurate and timely settlement of funds after a transaction has been made in the capital market.
Exchanges
An Exchange is an organized market where tradeable securities are bought and sold.
CSCS partners with Exchanges in the Nigerian capital market to provide secure and efficient depository services, clearing and settlement of securities traded.
